A popular and spacious campsite in the Kauaeranga Valley, 6 km north of the visitor centre.

Boulders Campsite

Next to the Te Waiti Stream, surrounded by nikau palms and tawa forest, this picturesque campsite is popular for swimming and picnicking.

Boundary Creek Campsite

Boundary Creek Campsite is temporarily closed. Visitors can still walk through the campsite for fishing and day visits. There is limited roadside parking and there are no toilet facilities available.

Boyle Campsite

Camp amongst the kānuka forest just off SH7 between Hanmer Springs and Lewis Pass. Boyle Campsite is on the Te Araroa Trail and at the end of the five-day tramp on the St James Walkway.

Brod Bay Campsite

This is a walk-in, Great Walk campsite beside Lake Te Anau, on the Kepler Track in Fiordland National Park. Bookings required in the Great Walks season.

Broken Hills Campsite

The Broken Hills Campsite is located beside the Tairua River among native bush. This is a standard campsite in the Coromandel region.

Brown campsite

This is a walk-in campsite on the Heaphy Track. It's a good place to stay if you're wanting an early start on the track the next day. It's also close to the Aorere River which offers trout fishing and gold panning.

Bucks Road Campsite

Enjoy the picturesque campsite above the Tauwharenīkau River set in regenerating bush. Walk the Tauwharenīkau Gorge Track or cool off with a swim in the river.

Butchers Flat Campsite

This grassy, flat camping area was once a gold mining area and is great for picnicking or swimming. You'll also find walking and mountain biking opportunities nearby.

Cable Bay Campsite

Set in a sheltered bay with stunning coastal surrounds, Cable Bay is a great place for families to relax on the beach, swim, kayak, fish or explore the nearby walking tracks.

Cameron Campsite

A basic campsite beside the Ngaruroro River and the Napier-Taihape Road.

Cameron Flat Campsite

This is a standard campsite in the Wanaka/Makarora area. Camp near the Makarora River. Plenty of great activities are available nearby, such as hunting, tramping or fishing.

Camp Bay Campsite

In a sheltered bay with fishing, boating, walking, mountain biking, plus a lodge with a bar, small shop and restaurant nearby. Boat and walk-in access only.

Camp beside Catchpool Stream close to walks in the Ōrongorongo Valley. The campsite is closed in winter from May to Labour weekend.
